Railroad bridge circa 1882, photographed in 2011. Was doing some digital and brought a real camera with me.
History lesson: Railroad was originally St. Johns, Halifax, St. Augustine and Jacksonville Railway, FEC bought it in 1896, trains ran until about the 40's carrying cypress trees from the local sawmills, line was abandoned and finally removed in 1976. There are still "NO TRESPASSING FEC RAILWAY" signs in the forest.
