Picture of wife and children at Arundel castle.
This print required quite a bit of work in the dodging and burning department as it was taken by available light on a brightish day.
I think I've done just about all I can, but would it be worth dropping a contrast grade?
Critique apperciated.
These shots against windows on bright days are murder to print successfully. You seem to have done a good job. I suspect that the areas in which dropping contrast may give you a little detail will be at the expense of the print "singing" as they say.
However I am still not advanced enough to really know. Try it and post. I'd love to be right but if I am wrong, I will have learned something either way.
