Thank You, Awty. I love metal & mechanisms, but expressive/evocative candid portraits are my fav. I just have to dive in and do the work to get better at it.

The person in amongst the sunflowers is a nice surprise. It took me a while to see that. I crave bright yellow though!

Eric, Last wk was thick smoke - woke up smelling like you slept by the campfire. 'Few days later it cleared, but today about 4:30 it thickened up again. 'Not sure if its just a change in the wind sending the gorge smoke this way or what. You might recall almost a year ago, the honorable Nodda posted one of 'Crown Point'. I heard the Eagle Creek fire hadn't reached the building, but was heading there.

I don't know if it was posed or is a candid, either way it is very well done and leaves me wanting to know more. To my eye her expression is in contrast to the scene, and that makes me ask why. Bravo.
