F-80 "Shooting Star"

Actually this variant is known as a T-33, a two-place training version of the military F-80. This fine example visited an air show in Janesville, Wisconsin in 2008
Equipment Used
Mama RB67, 360mm lens, YG filter, FP4 film. 2008
A very good shot Reinhold, this was the U.S.A's first jet fighter that the prototype unbelievably first flew in 1943.

. .%@!!!*(&% spell checker... It refuses to recognize Mamiya as a legitimate word.

Thanks, the plane was parked on a tarmac aligned with a runway, so trees were a mile away.
I kept the camera as low as I could to keep them out of the picture.
But I had to clean up a few treetops that looked like someone had left some toupees laying on the wings.

Thanks, I didn't know about the 1943 prototype flight, but I remember hearing news reports about the advent of jet dogfights in the Korean war...

Airplanes are a favorite subject of mine. A very nice shot of a real classic, thanks for sharing it! I will be sharing a few aircraft photos of my own today.
