Experiments in TMY-2 part 3 (1) - Backbend

Those of you who know me, know that I shoot many nudes, as well as struggle to appreciate TMY-2 I just can't get a handle on it, in this experiment, during a shoot, I loaded one back with TMY-2 and the other with HP5+ to see if both would expose the same given the exact same strobe light. Foolishly the only exact comparable image I took was ... well, something I can't post on APUG... essentially, a "crotch shot" however artsy and not porn, so I can't post the side by side comparison.

Anyway, these are two of the results, I developed the films together both in rodinal at their given dev times, the HP5+ while grainier, is sharper, and the TMY-2 is finer grained, but "fuzzier" but the TMY-2 did perform at box speed, which seems strange since I've had lots of issues exposing properly because it seems to take natural light as 1 to 1.5 stops slower... but the strobe doesn't lie... hah!

My ultimate conclusion is that the HP5+ isn't THAT much garner, even in Rodinal, to bother me enough to switch, however I'm sure if I were to push HP5+, it would be MUCH granier than TMY-2, so the next test is shooting HP5+ at 3200 and compare it to D3200 and see what's cooking' :)
