Darlot meniscus?? Very cool Evan, the funky lens addiction is a truly slippery slope!
I have about ten of them now, most don't trip my trigger like this one. I think it's going to be wonderful, it has a really dreamy look. I got the whole lens and also an adapter so I can screw the lens itself into the back of a Copal 3 shutter..

I feel like as much as I'm a sharpness guy, one day I'll have to try something like this or some kind of soft focus lens. The upper midtones and highlights really glow.
I'm a sharpness guy too but I like sharp pictures of very soft scenes, low light, fog, quiet light. I'd lkke to be able to create that feeling. I made this today at high noon on a 103 degree day!

Looks infrared, Evan. I'm sure you can come work with this lens and open a new photographic universe to yourself. I look forward to seeing more prints.

It has an IR glow or bloom. All the grass and those weeds are dead and are the highest tones in this sheet. There is a nice bloom around everything in the scene. Thanks, Evan
