I've been thinking about my reaction to this photo for a while, this morning, and here's where I've arrived: In a certain context, it probably has some merits, but within this forum, I find it simply prurient. Of course, I might be reading this all wrong, yes? A young attractive scantily clad woman, in stiletto heels, is caught in a decisive moment, staring fixedly at her breast.
By no small means am I a prude, but I find this image would be better served on the countless hundreds of other websites geared specifically to titillating the male desire. (which I find quite pedestrian, and well worn)
On the other hand maybe I should ignore this quibbling issue, and instead focus on the much more important aspects of this photo, such as the quality of light, exposure, and composition, tone, etc...yes?
I'm actually not offended or disgusted by this image. I do find the model's breast a bit androgynous which makes me think more about the story behind this. It doesn't really look like trains but more like mobile home sort of front porch, so maybe it is a little trashy in that sense. I find it to be quite a pretty image overall but I'm not male and not titillated by a bit of breast or leg.
actually there is place for this photograph here. APUG does not stand for ART photography. there is a large range of work that people do. Just because this one is more on the cheese cake side doesn't make it any less photography.
