Everyday Objects - Pay Phone

A payphone in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood in Washington DC. They're becoming scarce as hen's teeth, and they fit in that realm of ignored and overlooked everyday objects. They're something you assume is there until you go looking for one, because of their former ubiquitousness (well, perhaps you don't if you're under 25 years of age...yes, I am having a middle-age "get off my lawn" moment).

No, Stone - it's a device that lets people communicate with each other, instead of serving as a virtual barrier to interpersonal interaction
Well what good is it then? I don't want to actually communicate with people, that's why I'm on APUG *snicker* does it at least charge my iPhone? Lol
