The shallow DOF and contrasty printing certainly does emphasize her eyes, but feels far too harsh for this otherwise fine model.

I would have to say that this style of portrait is not my cup of tea , Having said this i find some aspects apealing , such as the intense eye contact, But if i remove the shallow DOF and put a number underneath , it has a real mugshot feel to me . Cheers Gary

I disagree. It's terrific work, looking past the superficial into the soul. That's what a portrait is supposed to do. Excellent.
