Eva in the Mirror

This is a 4 x 5 gum print I made some years ago. It came to mind while looking at the current show at the Metropolitan Museum showing the prints by other photographers from Stieglitz's personal collection.

But then you'd have a teeny weeny little print. And thanks, ''doesn't seem cliche'' is a compliment for sure.

Sundowner, you made me look up ''lurid.'' The first definition is ''lighted up with a red or fiery glare.'' But it can also mean ''terrible; sensational; startling ghastly.'' I always thought it meant ''sensational and cheap.'' Since the sentence in which the word appears contains positive remarks like ''lovely,'' I will thank you and the others for their compliments. This has also made me wonder what this image would like printed in a different hue. But really, thanks for looking and commenting.
