I'm putting together some work for an upcoming show and came across a couple of images I hadn't seen in a few years, so I thought I'd post them. This is a eucalyptus grove on the California coast printed in high-key pt/pd.
Thanks, guys. I realized that I started on APUG about the same time I started wet plate and have mostly ignored the 15+ years of pt/pd work the preceeded it. This has been a favorite of mine. It looks pretty good as a JPG, but the original print smokes the JPG.
This work will be in a group show of photographers from the Ansel Adams Gallery that will be at the Mumm Winery in Napa, CA. Opens Sept. 13. The theme is trees and I'll have about 10 or 12 pieces in the show.
