Eros In Motion

Eros In Motion

I don't know if this works or not and would welcome any comments. I took this on a Bencini Comet which is an old, small Italian aluminium camera from the 1950s. It takes 16 shots sized 32 x 40mm on 127 roll film. It only has 1/50 and Bulb setting and the aperture is fixed. I took this whilst walking through Piccadilly Circus in London and the place was packed with tourists all with flash digital cameras. I did smile when I dragged out my small but stylish Italian job. I kind of like the scratch marks and blemishes on the shot and would welcome any feedback. Thanks for viewing.

I like the scartches for sure. A tad more contrast would help. I think if the motion was the other way..i.e. flowing behind Eros, the picture would have worked better for me. Best, K

Think you are right Kal, maybe also a crop from the top making it square (not for square's sake but to lose a little more of the dead area at the top). Will keep up with this camera though, quite like the effect (little like an old version of a Holga). Cheers.
