Great idea Thomas..I remember this or similar images and this print really gives this it's due
 
I thought this was a bromoil on first viewing. Nice look to it.
 
Thanks Victor and Walter - I so wish we could look at the actual prints instead.

It took a long time to get the scan of this print this far, but it still just doesn't come together like the print... It's disappointing. Working on getting a copy stand and a digital camera instead of a scanner. It looks terribly flat on screen and has none of the luminosity of the original, and I don't know how to capture it in the scan.

beautiful work Thomas - the lith adds a wonderful softness to the portrait - and I agree about the problems with scanning lith prints; they never look the same
