This sucks. Plain sucks. It is so ugly I think you need to make a 30x40 enlargement send it to me and ditch the trannie. That way you would not have to look at it and I coud suffer with its existence on my wall as atonment for some horrible past sin.

Bit of a story on this one... Previously only shot here at Sunset, decided it ought to work in right conditions at dawn. Arrived and setting off from car in dark realised that a torch would have been V useful, it is quite a trek over slippery rocks. Then having made it out to the headland, set up this shot, there are a convoy of headlights. Cursing that it must be some Photo club outing, I was wrong, as loads of surfers made their way over to my 'spot'. They were quite surprised to see me there. This is the first of the images from the session. I was able to make 4 other compositions. By that time the surfers were in full flow on 3-5 foot wave faces. The light offshore wind had formed and was whisking yellow backlit spray off the lips. At moments like that, a 35mm and long lens was called for. This will suffice as a memorable 'day at the office'.
Oh and I've never seen another image from here at dawn. Shh...., our secret!
