Engine rebuild, Durango Silverton Roundhouse

I feel the front of the loco should be centered in your photograph and not set to one side as you have shown it. No camera ,film or processing details available?

Just IMHO, I like it offset somewhat. I think it adds interest. Old steam locomotives are really neat, and with their complex design, make very interesting subjects. Nice photo!

Did you try centering and offset before printing? I am assuming you did and the centering was "stronger". Is it possible that the picture was made on 35mm? No problem with that, I do like the effect: i.e. Dirty and Gritty. It is my understanding that the D&RG roundhouse burned. If so, was it rebuilt as a "roundhouse"? Nice picture and interesting.
