Engine in coffin

Shot on the banks of the river Thames, London, Enlgand at low tide.
I noticed this marine engine in the remains of it's boat a while back, and re-visited to get this shot.

Great shot. The parial tide is key. Less water would eliminate a crucial element.

Could be the cover shot from "Trustee from the tool room" by Schute. Muddy, but nice. tim

It *was* very muddy! Everything you see is covered in a thin layer of tidal slime. At times I was in it upto my knees. I'm going to reshoot this on 10x8 with reducing back, my Ebony doesn't have enough bellows draw to use my choosen lens (300 mm minus front element)
