25 seconds? What did you do put the dog on the ether before the shot? Another incredible image. The comets add to this shot a great deal--as do the bitchin earlobes.
Having just clicked on "(see this users gallery)", I say you should be given an APUG award for the strongest photographs with the least number of comments. Why is this so? I can't get a firm grip on an answer to that question...but something tells me you aren't concerned with that at all, and that you'll continue to build a body of work that'll inevitably demand to be recognized.
Why not post your images in the "Standard Gallery" or the "Critique Gallery"?
The problem with posting them only in your personal gallery is that once somebody else posts a photograph, your thumbnail on the main Forums page disappears and is never seen again. If you post them to the "Standard Gallery", then many more people would get to experience them because the thumbnails would be there for anybody to click on today, tomorrow, or a week from now.
After all the work you put into your photographs, wouldn't you want more people to see them? They deserve it!
This has a real mixture of things going on - antique and modern, sly and obvious - it poses as many questons as it answers. A thought-provoking image, brilliant work.
My goodness, what an incredible portrait- and with a wet plate? Wow. This image speaks volumes and volumes about the sitter- and isn't that the real purpose of a portrait? Marvelous technically and aesthetically.

Monty,
When he held the dog upside down, it froze as if it were stuffed...I could have made a two minute exposure with the dog sharp!
Murray,
Thanks for your comments and advice. I didn't know how to best post work to galleries...I'll try to figure it out...and start posting to the other galleries.
