Amazing how a piece of trash can be used to make a great Photograph, like the tree or object out of focus in the background repeating the shape of the trash in the foreground. Bobbed wire makes for a good stitching.
Nice print! The photograph conveys a kind of dull and "empty" mood that I like and I think the tones and the toning emphasize that mood (somehow) . Great work!
Excellent shot and great composition.
I would, if I had the eye to pick this scene as I drive by at 70 miles per hour, tried also to use a wide angle to get the distant background in focus.
That lonely tree is tempting!
Keep up the good work.
@mike c@henpe@petrk@jtk@Eric Rose@Gaston 012@dasBlute@mfohl@Andrew O'Neill Thanks for all the great comments. I photographed it several different ways with different cameras including 4x5, this is the best representation of what I wanted (I think), bit of a rough draft. Was meant to be a still life of sorts, a sculpture whipped up by the wind a tree a mirage in the distance. A longer exposure would be more blur and a different look, still would work, but not what I was after this time. Spent a couple of days in the Tenterfield region in NNSW a rural area suffering from drought and dwindling population.
