Embracing specular highlights

Tail end of a Cushman and a Vespa at the Petersen Auto Museum in Los Angeles. Couldn't do anything about the lighting, so I decided to embrace it and see how it turned out. I kind of like it. Any thoughts on if the highlights work or if they are too distracting?

I think you're doing fine here. The highlights are unavoidable, unless you carry a room size tracing tent with you all the time ;-). And besides, it's chrome and high gloss lacquer, it should shine...

Fine photograph. That Tmax is a hell of a film once you figure out how to use it, yes? Creamy smooth, very nice grain; doesn't like to be abused during processing, though!
