That's striking! Is that Bird of Paradise??? (I'm not very botanically knowledgable. )

Very nice. I think, it sort of, looks like, Birds of Paradise. They grow wild out here in Southern California.

Thanks for your comments, this is like a 'bird of paradise' I think they call it a Heliconia. Over here in Blighty I have found them really hard to get hold off and are $$. Was lucky this week-end as my main florist had them in for a change.
