Ellen

This image was taken the minute after another image (not yet published). Ellen was just about to fix her hair (it's a hair-pin she has in her mouth).
I just saw that she stood like this, and I said to her, that she shouldn't move.

When I focused the image and then stood beside the camera, I swear that the rest of the world disappared. It was just me, my camera and Ellen that existed. I only took one image and I knew that it would be (too me) a beautiful image.

Yet today, this is too me the best photo of Ellen, I have.

That IS beautiful! What a pretty young girl and you've shown her beautifully. Lovely dof and *beautifully* smooth skin tones.

Marcus,
it's an amazing pose, Ellen looks so well composed and comfortable. These portraits you continue to create are very special and will be cherished in the future. Keep up the really great work. Inspirerande, minst sagt!

This is, as Suzanne says, perfect!

I'm continually impressed with your 4x5 portraiture work, working at f8 you must be very close to wide open, probably only 1 stop, very good.

Mick.

Thanks all.
Mick, yes I'm very close. The largest aperture is 5.6
In this shot I belive that I was around 5 feet away from Ellen, so as you can imagine the DOF is shallow.
Thank God that my models can stand still
