Elephant Ear Leaf

Until a few weeks ago I was mostly using B&W, slides or digital. Using C41 film is an interesting experience for me. I have used it before, but this is over 20 years ago. At the moment I mostly use expired film, which I bought of APUG a few weeks ago. But a new box of Portra 400 is on its way.;)

Luscious detail and color. It may be monochromatic, but the chroma is exciting here.

@Peter Rockstroh01 Well, I payed $2.65 per roll. Problem is that the expired film is not just expired, it is just not made anymore. Even when I like a particular film, I can't buy it anymore. Not all of them of course. It was 15 brands/types of film. Some are expired in 2000. But still OK, as far as I can tell.:wink:
 
Definite home run. Detail of the texture, water, vascular paths & the interesting gray going almost purple is fascinating.
