Elbow falls (B&W)

Shot after the colour image I recently uploaded. I just noticed I changed orientation for this one; I think I wanted more sky in the colour image to catch the band of pink.

For monochrome, this orientation definitely works - particularly with that dramatic sky, just as the other orientation worked for the coloured sky in the last image. Both images are superb. I am looking forward to seeing your FB (?) print of this sometime in future...

Very, very nice image. On my monitor the trees look a bit dark, or is that intentional?

The trees were both sort of in shade (though the sun had set at this point) and also stuck under the ND part of the grad ND filter. I print it with detail in them (and on my monitor there is some in this neg scan), but they aren't bright by any means.

nice print
