Another image from my "Serendipity Box" of the LC-A 120. The red granite head is perfectly captured the way I envisioned, but the face of the man walking through at bottom right is just spotlit by a patch of sun from the window in parallel to the head. Eerie.
The preponderance of the vital and convenient nexus between these two disparate faces forces me to come to the conclusion that this 'act of treachery' on your part was wholly intended. (One can hardly come to an otherwise and delightful conclusion.) But, yet, the face in back of, and above, the human face synergizes with the others and absorbs my attention by providing a discrete triptych of sorts which provides an overall continuum defining humanity's story.
Now, Scott, try implementing such visual, replicative forwardness with the British Museum's keystone of its ancient collection, The Warren Cup, and see how fast you get yourself banned from Photrio or any other venue!!! (Some works of art were not meant to be duplicated, even subjectively, within our 'progressive' culture.) - David Lyga
