Being terrified of heights, I get the heebby-jeebbies just looking at it. It has to extend over a 1000 ft chasm, the bottom of which is clearly visible through the mesh flooring.

Thanks for looking and commenting. @pbromaghin the span is not so high. If you go to page two in the gallery here, I posted another view of the bridge which gives a better idea of its height. This bridge replaced the 19th Century bridge in 1926. It was used until about 1963, when a new bridge was constructed just downstream. Cheers!
