Early Snow

We woke up this morning to an inch or two of wet, heavy snow. The still clinging leaves drooped ponderously, but held on for still a while longer as autumn comes to a reluctant close. This was taken on our deck.

I think it is tough to get a good image when shooting at some trees...but you did it. Nice...

Excellent use of the frame. I saw some of this white stuff driving into Woodstock this morning.

Just gorgeous! You really captured the feeling of weight on the drooping branches. Quite a view from your deck- must be beautiful all year round.

All the best,
Daniel

I just love your attention to detail along the edges and in the corners of your compositions; like the way the forked branch perfectly fits into the top left corner, or how the arching dark branches on the right edge balance the trunks on the left. Oh ya...the middle bits hold the whole show together.

Me-thinks we're witnessing the emergence of a serious contender!

Now quit teasing me with negative scans and let's see some positive interpretations on paper (says he who's been without a darkroom for a couple years now  )
