Mike, probably a problem with my homemade English!
What I had i mind was something like this: standing in the middle of the mist, or fog, thus surrounded by it, you can have the feeling that the mist/fog is very close to you, tight to your body, I thought a warm, slightly reddish, tone in the print perhaps could grasp something of this "nearness/closeness" of the mist. I fully agree that my way of expressing this was very confusing; hope I did it better this time, a little bit perhaps.
