eskyone, I like the silky water, very nice. if you reprint this, work with the snow in the lower left. It lacks detail, and if you can develop some with a little burn-in, that might improve that. Same for the tree trunk, only less so. Other option, trim to photo on the left so what we see is that which is to the right of the tree trunk. For something with even more impact, crop down to just the right 1/3 of the photo. what is left over if vertical and lyrical. Thanks for post.
Beautiful, Luminous shot. I'd love to see a silver print of this. You have to be careful with Cotton Candy water these days(Often overdone for effect) but this works as a reflection of the snow on the branches and a peaceful, calming element. Again, just beautiful.
This photograph has caught my attention because there is something that is troubling about it. It is about an intimate still life of quite trees. It is also about a gush of water that looks more like a violent distrubance from a dam that perhaps broke farther up hill creating a flood of water that is bulldozing its own path throught the land. I can hear the roar of water as it overpowers the quiet trees and this troubles me. Job well done.
