My first real attempt at a night shot of citylights. Since I usually use an incident meter to judge exposure, I had to rely on my in- camera meter suggestion. It seemed reasonable to me and I figured these types of photos have some latitude. I wasn't even going to consider adding reciprocity failure to the mix! ;-)
Excellent job especially for a first time. These shots all look better with some after glow in the sky. I find that if you start shooting just after sunset and shoot untill about an hour after to get variations in the sky.
