This is great. I love the crop..the compression of elements in an otherwise empty landscape works really well.
I love my Nikkor 105!

I really like the way that you have seen and presented this photograph. The repetition of patterns on the barricade and the sign are most appealing...then to have a counter point indicated on the roof of the shack provides the finishing touch.

I agree. This is a keeper. The shack seems a bit dark but it could be my monitor.

Man would I ever love to photograph there! It's such a moody mysterious place.

I like this a lot. I really enjoy this style of photo essay. I've never been to Dungeness but I love minimalist landscapes. Have you any more from your project?

Thank you, Victor, Don, Kate, Clogz, Mike, and Gay. your comments are very much appreciated and most welcome. Yes Dungeness is a very moody and mysterious location. It is steeped in history, and in the skies over Dungeness was fought one of the bloodiest air battles of WW2, Imean of course the Battle of Britain. And even today remains of shot down aircraft are dragged up by the fishing boats. But I do love this place and for over twenty five years I've lived this fasination with Dungeness. Perhaps the UK APUG members can arrange a photo meet there. I do hope so as they won't be dissapointed.
