I use 20% sodium citrate to develop and sodium dichromate for contrast control. I develop my negatives in Moersch Tanol which is a staining developer. The stain blocks UV light very well and still lets me use these negatives for a normal silver process. This image was developed with one ml dichromate per liter citrate. I develop for five or six minutes, then wash for two minutes an clear in 3% citric acid, then wash for another minute and fix for four minutes in Moersch ATS alkaline 1+20 (the normal strength of this fixer is 1+5). Due to the alkaline fixer I do not loose density during fixing, density is even increased.
thanks rst , so you use the same process as seen on Wolfgang's site. Again, very nice work... I too like untoned Kallitypes but tone 50% of them in Pd.
