Dune_Detail

There are sand dunes in Canada... not just snow dunes! Southwest corner of Saskatchewan has active dunes left by ancient ocean and the last ice age. I visited there a few times (40 bloody Celcius in August!) and got a few that I like. This one is a detail.

That is a great photo of a wicked looking texture ! There is something almost human in those shapes.

I like this very much... well executed.

This just makes me giddy. Wonderful, Andrew.

Gorgeous image Andrew! I've always wanted to visit the Great Sandhills as they were always within reach of driving when visiting my brother in Brooks, AB and/or parents in Manitoba, but it seems like I was always short on time to do so. Maybe the next time I go home I'll have a chance.

Sum helluva detail, Andrew. And to have it on 8x10 is over over the top. This belongs in a gallery!
