Took this photo many years ago, but I never printed it. Found it when I was going through some negatives.

I hate to say it, but it reminds me of the end of "Planet of the Apes".

No, I have no idea why these cars were here, just stumbled upon them while walking along a beach. Looked like they had been there for a long time, all the cars apeared to be from the '60's, though it was hard to identify the models of the cars.
 
I agree with Matt, it's like looking at the archaeological remains of our own time. Great shot!
 
At the end of the movie "Planet of the Apes", the Statue of Liberty is discovered buried in the sand, except for its head.

I think the shadows really make this picture. Planet of the Apes.....they all die at the end.
 
It is in Australia and therefore on the correct side for driving over there.
