Experimenting with printing cyanotypes. This was an exposure I made for the APUG anniversary.

Arches watercolor hotpress 140 lb

Probably from fast and sloppy processing of the print. The acid free paper and super alkaline Utah water was bleaching the prints so I didn't thoroughly wash them. The other messy areas are from rubbing spit on the image to see if it would help acidify the paper.
 
Svend: I really want to try toning in tea but want to get the straight Cyanotype print down first. Funny you should mention "graphic" as my day job is Graphic Design. Thanks for the kind words.
 
yah, I'd second the graphic qualities here as palpable. . . VERY strong comp/focal point.

I like the idea of getting the cyano perfect, but like the visual quality of the messiness even more than the opposing idea.
