The tones, as they recede into shadow just make me giddy. They're as clear as I've seen. Old industrial will always be a fav. subject. 'No disdain for modern - just a gnawing sense we're forgetting faster than we're discovering. I love the images of how things were done in another day. Very beautiful, Andrew. That's no surprise.
I had a very old Wollensak clunker barrel lens at the time, that an old retired photographer passed on to me. I believe that it was uncoated and that is what contributed to the glow in the windows. It was extremely humid in there, too. I was literally soaked with sweat from head to toe! I loved that lens but unfortunately, it was stolen. It ever so slightly vignetted at the film corners at infinity, but close focusing (as in this image) took care of that. Forget about any lens movements, though!
