Thank you for your comments ! The N+ development made the current lines in the sand more obvious and brought out more texture in the wood. I took 9 negatives of this subject and a couple of frames on the next roll (normal dev.). The normal developed images look flat.
 
I think this is great but the water distracts from the log which I think is the main object of interest.
 
I don't know if the water is a distraction. Without the water it is a totally different concept: an abstract instead of a detail in a landscape. I included the edge of the ocean to give it a sense of scale and location. It also gives the flowlines a place to flow to.
