Beautifully sharp rendering of the weathered texture. I get the bone thing - the structure that remains after the organism is no longer alive, and the process of decay has progressed. Mortality is always a compelling theme...

Thanks fellows. Hard not to consider mortality when faced with a scene like this - and with the Pacific crashing at your back....
