A while back a local bird observatory lake was drained because of some duck disease. Many trees there are rooted in the actual bed of the lake(actually a large pond really) so when it was drained this was the scene.
Now that is texture. I like this. The back-lighting is very effective, setting off the branches and then tending to a black (almost a vignetting effect) at the top. And the ground, well, what's not to love about that!
