Downtown St. Paul

Shot on a cold morning in February down by the back of the science museum off of Shepard Road. For whatever reason, my scanner does not seem to like the matt paper. It gives it quite a soft look when in fact it is much more contrasty.

Cool! Perhaps the scan isn't the best, but we get the idea... Knowing how well Andrew prints, this will be amazing in the flesh.

I rescanned and rebuilt the thumbnail after changing some of the levels on my scanner.... It's a CHORE I really hate having to do! I also had to clean the underside of my scanner platen as there were signs of outgassing from the plastic and electronics on it! It helped a lot. That said, negs scans still give me grief!

Great photo Andrew. Love the way the clouds and smoke are rendered, together with the wall of buildings that look like some architectural model set-up.

I must admit that I prefer this version to your Lith version.

Cheers
Vincent

I keep going back and forth between this one and the lith version. I think this one is the nicer of the pair, but they are both fantastic.
