View Downstream from a flooded headwater stream of the Collins River, in Collins Gulf. I had to stay very still as I was on a swinging bridge with my tripod for a long exposure ( around 1/2 to 1 sec). This was an image I had been wanting to capture on a misty, rainy winter day.
Terrific shot.
I too find exposures in the 0.5~1 second mark come out well for waterfalls - long enough to give the sense of motion but not too long to make the water go all "milky"

Wow Jon! That is one beautiful image - suitable for framing, even!
It gives the impression of very fast moving water and the rocks look perfectly placed; the tree in the near center really 'anchors' the image.
