Peter, I'll bet that speed limit is obeyed in Inverness even in this day and age :smile:Your link to the earlier shots of Crewe railway station made me look again and once thing I hadn't noticed before is that while the enlarged crop has resulted, not unepectedly, in the platform sign writing being a little fuzzy, the brickwork on the wall behind is almost detailed enough to count the bricks. It might be my vdu or my eyes getting worse over the interim years but I had expected the lines in the bricks to be a little more fuzzy as well

As a matter of interest In enlargement terms what might the crop equate to in terms of an enlargement of the full picture. It looks as if it might easily be 12x16 or even bigger but my knowledge of how I "do the sums" to get an answer is lacking

Thanks

Thanks PU, but I'm afraid the numbers thing is beyond me as well. Your 12x16 may well be close to the mark, I suspect.
