That is very interesting -- have done both 'Blue' and 'Sepia' on traditional Darkroom Prints but never knew you could 'combine' them as here .The Blue is easily spoiled by wrong pH baths.

@pentaxpete Yes. In outline (excluding intermediate washing stages) the toning scheme is roughly as follows:
Acid pre-condition
Iron Blue tone
Ferricyanide / halide Bleach
Sulphide Tone
Blue Tone Regeneration
Alkali differentiation
Final wash

Composition and placement makes this a very strong picture. Active and pleasing to the eye.

That Ferricyanide/Halide Bleach is the one i use for Thiocarbamide Sepia Toning -- Pot Ferri + Pot Bromide?

That's impressive. I actually thought is was done on colour stock. Keeping the whites white and the snow shadows blue really sells it. The warmth of the chocolate brown sets it off very well.

The visualization that led to this is to be commended. I doubt I would have thought to try (let alone succeed)!

I also thought it was shot on color at first look.
Very nice.

My early professional training was in analytical chemistry and I loved chemistry at school, so I just love B&W photographic chemistry. Complex and novel toning, often very extreme and 'punk' rather than purely pictoral, is a special interest of mine. I'm setting up a personal album to share a range of my work. Great site - and thanks for the positive comments.
