Doughnut Thief

Last week I visited my parents. While there I sat in their garden for a while with a cup of tea and a doughnut. Getting the call of nature I had to go back indoors for a minute, on my return my doughnut had gone. A little later I caught the bushy tailed culprit red handed as he tucked into my doughnut!
I had to shoot underexposed and compensated in development, I think that may explain the heavy contrast in the neg. I decided to keep the contrast in the print.

The way it has turned out, it looks like a proper fully formed doughnut that it has munched into. So it's either a squirrel sized doughnut in which case it was never yours or it's your mansized doughnut in which case discretion is the better part of valour. At that size and with that face, whatever you do, don't mount a counter attack on its nuts. APUG needs your money and replies not your obituary.

A great shot.

Hi guys, yes it was a full sized jam doughnut! To add insult to injury he didn't finish it but wedged it in a fork halfway up a tree, saving it for later!
