Donkey Refuge

I took these at a Donkey Refuge near me. The couple who run it have at least a dozen rescued donkeys, from miniatures to mammoths, and they say they will never turn one away. I expected them to be rather skittish and hard to get near, but had the opposite problem, at least until they got used to me. They all wanted to be petted and rubbed.
Wonderful creatures, and I was surprised to learn they have a 50 year lifespan.

You have an eye for animal pics. As well as a love of animals you have animal empathy which is different but very valuable for picture taking.

Keep them coming. I have yet to see one I haven't liked
