Dog Trot House

The "Dog Trot House" at the Pleasant Hill Civil War battlefield. This is the only structure left from the original village of Pleasant Hill, where a very bloody battle was fought in April, 1864. A dog trot house is two cottages connected by a breezeway, allowing ample air flow in hot climates.
