Shot while visiting Acadia National Park, partly an experiment as well with Tech Pan in original Technidol, not sure if I like the results or not, looks ok here but the "grain" is hard to tell since I"m scanning, but seems "big" but perhaps just doesn't scan well...
Very nice example of what Tech Pan could do - a blast from the past. I also found great renditions of detail with little grain, but I was disappointed with my skies which I found needed careful agitation, but I was new at it then (mid 80s). You don't seem to have had my problem.
Thanks guys, the tones were great, but I prefer "sharp" grain, and this was more ... mucky.... but again that was probably because the scanner was unable to properly "see" the grain and merged multiple grains together to make it look mucky, this is when you are "pixel peeping" and would have to have been larger than 8x10 to really notice it, but still bothered me and was disappointed as I thought it should be much sharper. But now I understand it's just the way it is.
