Slightly disturbing. I think it may be inverted which puts the view point a little beyond vertical. Anyway, a lot of tension in a superficially static subject.

You just helped me figure out why I even paid any mind to this neg in the first place, yes it is a little disturbing. I shot it with a 21mm lens and there was no way to get a vertical perspective without my toes in the picture, so I did the tripod and timer thing. And you are right, I think the image is presented inverted. Not sure, but probably.
