Detail taken from a steam loco which had broken down in my local railway station. I admit that I did have to look up the name of the part on the net.

I enjoy looking at this image.The composition is wonderful. The round shut off points into the main object and the D.L. is seperated by a soft background giving it a nice high key set off.Certainly a find piece. I'd print, mount and sign it, then donate it to a museum who might just celebrate your skills in a hundred years from now or offer you a showing of your work.Nice Job.
 
That is a gorgeous print, Vincent. I enjoyed seeing your work live, at our meeting in Dublin, but I also like it on the web site, though the computer screen does not do justice to your excellent printing skills. You have another steam engine theme print, which you brought to the meeting, of a round crank of sorts, like the detail in the lower left of this image, it would be wonderful to see it here...
