The photoshopped image will always be better than yourself, no matter how your surroundings feel about you.
You will never believe you're pretty when you can't compete with the beauty that's being hold out to you.
I really like the concept of this series and believe you've done a great job realizing it.
I for one was always troubled by the 16 year old size 0 models in the Channel ads in the NY Times wearing $23K worth of cloth.
Ultimately the message worked it's way to poor kids in the inner city killing each other for lensless designer eyeglasses and $200 sneakers
Thank you, Mark, cool you recognized the back projection!
Haha thank you Carl, I love you too ;-)
Thank you Jersey, that is a poor side effect indeed. Not to mention the starving teens who desperately want to look like something that can never be when leading a normal life.
Thanx, I had seen that vid before, it's a strong one. Too bad on one hand though it's being made by a cosmetics company who also make anti-aging cremes and feed the hype they are trying to fight through that short film. It's good they try it, especially for a company like theirs, but it still leaves a hypocrite taste somehow.
