Thanks for commenting everyone... My wife and kids have teased me a bit about these shots... you know grown man playing with creepy looking doll parts, and general comments about how it's weird etc .. My wife even bought me a tee-shirt from Florida about a young man who carried a wierd doll around for years called Simon. Apparently, the slogan 'Simon made me do it' for things that happen is all the buzz in Key West!!
At any rate, this is just a mini series/distraction for me but it's given me some ideas to maybe create a diptych or triptych of these plates. As for the Quay Brothers.... I'd not heard about them until today! They seem quite interesting, so I will look into that short movie.
